Louis Hornick Announces Launch of Firefend™ Semi-Sheers

Louis Hornick and Company unveiled the first ready-made flame retardant semi-sheer this week.

An addition to the firefend™ collection, the batiste semi-sheer is being launched in both solid colors and prints in sizes 50”x36” through 50”x95”. All colors and prints of the semi-sheer are also being offered as Toga Valances and Ascot Valances.

“The addition of the semi-sheer to the firefend collection provides the consumer with the opportunity to fully dress the window using the semi-sheers as under panels” says Louis Hornick II, CEO. “The semi-sheers, in solid colors and prints, also offers the consumer the ability to completely dress all the windows in a room.”

The firefend^™ collection, comprised of firefend^™, firefend^™ Kids and the firefend^™ Batiste Semi-Sheer meet strict commercial flame retardant codes and regulations.

“As with the firefend^™ drape it was critical that on top of introducing flame-retardant properties into the ready-made window category, that we offered the consumer superior hand and drapability” says Louis Hornick III, COO. “Our Ignite-Not^™ weave achieves this.”

The batiste semi-sheers are Eco-Friendly (no water is used in the dying process saving up to 25 gallons per 84” panel).

They are Machine Washable and Made in the USA.
